Aluminium 1050 Channels contain approximately 99.5% pure aluminium with small amounts of iron, silicon, copper, and manganese. This composition imparts excellent corrosion resistance, high ductility, and superior electrical and thermal conductivity. The alloy has a tensile strength in the range of 60–100 MPa and exhibits good elongation and workability, allowing easy machining, forming, and welding. Although non-heat-treatable, Aluminium 1050 maintains strength through cold working and provides outstanding surface reflectivity and smooth finishing, making it suitable for both structural and decorative purposes.
